Iolaire Lodge is particularly suitable for romantic breaks and honeymoon couples especially. The lodge offers a great space in which to relax, recharge and watch the world go by. As well as a fully equipped kitchen, spacious open-plan lounge and dining area with cathedral ceilings, it boasts an IR sauna and two-person Jacuzzi bath with mood lighting. Additionally, this lodge has the option of a luxurious outdoor hot tub.
The two king-size ground-floor bedrooms are light and airy with excellent storage and at the top of the stairs there is an open “loft” area which can serve either as another bedroom, children’s play area or just a quiet space.
The living areas and bedrooms come complete with a range of Harris Tweed soft furnishings and Scottish Arran Aromatics toiletries are supplied as standard. Linen and towels are provided as well as Sky Sports TV package, DVD Home Cinema and internet.
Iolaire Lodge is named in memory of the ship of the same name that sank at the mouth of Stornoway Harbour on 1st January 1919, bringing servicemen home after four years of war. 206 men perished.
